The Hawk is the most beauftiful, most astonishing beach I have every seen in the province. It has in thre right daylight something magical, white sands, green dunes, aincent rocks populated with sea birds and turquoise water give the beach an almost unreal appearance. We rested there a couple of hours and felt almost like in the Caribbean. Also the Cape Sable Island Lighthouse is iconic. Also the drowned forest is worth to see. The Hawk is a true gem on the South Shore of Nova Scotia.
If you want to escape to a place where you can be alone on the beach then this is the perfect getaway. Crystal clear water, long sandy beach….you’ll feel like you’re in the tropics. It is pristeen and absolutely breathtaking. I am in awe every time I visit. One of my favorite little hideaways in NS…a true gem. Do yourself a favor and spend a day here….it’s heaven.
