Great beach! tons of free parking with a very short walk to the water (compared to many others), You never feel crowded even on busy days. Clean and well kept but could use a few more picnic tables. Life Guards in designated areas. Aug of 2018 the water is as warm as a bath and no Jellyfish to be seen. and less than 20 min. from town (New Glasgow)
Went for the first time today. Beautiful beach, a mix of sand and pebbles. Clean, well kept washroom facilities! Water was warm but there were a ton of jelly fish, so we didn’t do much swimming! Great place to beach combe 🙂
The best well kept secret in Eastern Canada. Discovered it last summer. Warm water, sand beaches, great sandbars. No mud or rocks to navigate. A real gem!

Our family go to beach for years. Great memories made there. We used to dig clams back then.
Fabulous swimming in the warm waters & lots of sand !!
We like to take our goldens to the beach but this one is really tiny and tends to have too many people so it isn’ t as fun for dog lovers.
Melmerby Beach is one of the cleanest, majestic beaches in Canada. I miss this beach, every time I have to leave.

I went there Canada Day weekend 2012 for the first time and I really enjoyed it. It was a beautiful, well kept beach.
One of Nova Scotia’s best beaches. But here, we have so many great ones, it is hard to choose.
