I was at the beach on Friday August 18th and it was spectacular. The tide was out, the water was 17.5 and crystal clear. The breeze was warm as well as washrooms and an ice cream truck! Loved it! Great beach!The sand fleas & insects were at a minimum.
Proximity to the Spryfield and other suburbs make this the Halifax Shopping Centre of beaches. Not to mention the coldest water in all of Nova Scotia. Worst choice for a swimming location, but a great place to see people who should not be in a bathing suit.
