The sand is nit white sand. it is an iron based, kind of reddish colored, It will stain your bathing suits, clothes if you sit in a wet one for a while trying to dry off and it is almost impossible to get that rust colour out. (my experience)
I grew up going to this beautiful beach and love going home with my own kiddos and spending time here. 🙂
My Happy Place! This is my favourite beach in Pictou County. Never crowded, warm typically calm water. Beautiful pic nic park. Great for families and couple. Perfect for long walks and sandcastles 🙂
