Make sure you have a decent map and a tide schedule before visiting this beach. The road signs are inconsistent and when the tide is high there is not much sand and a heavy seaweed smell. We went on a Sunday at the end of July and there were only a few cars, but we didn’t stay, because with smaller kids we wanted more sand.
