Bayswater
Directly on the Atlantic Ocean so the water is usually cold. waves make the little rocks at one end roll back and forth making a clicking noise. Soft, white, sand, not exceptionally busy even in summer,has a very nice picnic park across the road.
Sand castle competition here every year in August.

Was at Bayswater beach yesterday Aug 29th. Took two year old granddaughter. Not a sign or warning that I could see. Now I know why it was not at all crowded like the other beaches along the way. I am wondering why there was not someone posted there to warn of bacteria problem? We and the others there apparently had no idea.
Another gorgeous beach. Lots of huge waves, from my experience not really good for swimming unless you are expert. still awesome though.
This is a great beach to take your dog for a swim. We go down to the very end of the beach so we don’t bother anyone. The sand is soft and very easy for our “senior” dog Chase to access.
I was at Bayswater Beach today and loved it. White sandy beach, wide and long as well sandy bottom ocean floor with warm water. It was sandcastle day and lots of people, fun dj and competitions for the kids. Canteen nearby, washrooms, change rooms, lifeguards. Beach volleyball going on. I loved it there and would highly recommend it.
