Round Bay beach and Roseway beach are separated by a stream that empties the warm, tannin-tinted waters of estuarine Round Bay into the mouth of Shelburne harbour. At low tide and when the stream isn't running too fast, you can walk through the stream from one beach to the next. Round Bay itself is a great place to explore by kayak or canoe.
