Broad Cove Beach
Broad Cove has a beautiful little beach. The beach has a nice private sand area, and the cove is partially protected so the water stays relatively calm.
With big well known beaches close by this beach seems fairly quite with not a lot of visitors.

Broad Cove has a great sense of community and is considered one of the nicest villages on the South Shore. Lots of events nearby, including the popular Rockabilly Picnic in July/August. Winter weather is typical coastal weather, milder than inland but with the occasional good storm. Population is around 130 full-time residents and many others seasonal or part-time. Average age is probably in the 50’s with many aged younger or older. Youngest is around two and the oldest around eighty. A nice intergenerational mix. A great place to raise a family.

I was thinking about moving to Broad Cove the next month or two I’m just curious is it a nice place to live and what is there to do for excitement in the summer months and how was the winter weather there are they reasonably fair or bad to her
It is so unfortunate that they have left this beach go so far down hill.They stopped cleaning the seaweed and kelp and now the once beautiful clear ocean water is now brown and not appealing anymore to swim in. Such a shame as I spent from ages 5-16 every summer on this wonderful beach.
